Course Description: This is an introductory course for students with no knowledge of German. The students will learn the essentials of German grammar. At the end of the course, they will be able to communicate on a basic level like introducing themselves, asking and answering questions, and interact in a simple way. The course also offers training of the main language skills like listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It includes basic vocabulary, verb conjugation, the cases (kasus), present tense, sentence structure, and pronunciation. If the students are interested in specific grammar and vocabulary topics, they will have the opportunity to ask the teacher about them.
About the Instructor: Denitsa is an experienced German teacher. She has an MA in German and has specialized in translation theory and Austrian literature. She has 20 years of teaching experience and has taught on high school and college level. Denitsa prepares students for the language exams, required by German universities (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR). She works as a private tutor and teaches all levels of German.
