Podcasting requires extensive planning, networking skills, and adaptability. Learn the ins and outs of this exciting medium by getting a foundation in researching topics, reaching out to prospective guests, preparing questions, promotional outreach, and more.
Podcasting is an effective and proven way to connect with global audiences. We cover the core steps of podcast creation starting with finding that idea to getting your podcast published. Through this workshop we will cover:
- How to research and turn an original idea to a podcast series
- Disciplining yourself by creating a content schedule while establishing trust with your audience and guests
- The ins and outs of pre-interviews, research and structuring interesting questions
- How to network and connect with prospective guests
- Editing, monetizing and more!
About the Instructor: Christopher has years of multimedia experience as an interviewer and storyteller. He has previously worked as a desktop publisher, live stream producer, PA announcer, webcast director, professor, events emcee, and more. He currently works as a podcast host and producer with a continuing education platform where he interacts with speakers from around the world. His passion lies in helping make the abstract become concrete with a goal to connect with diverse voices and foster discussions on complex issues while making conversations as accessible and inclusive as possible.
